As siblings, Katie and Sam enjoyed going to races for years before entering the thoroughbred industry. After careful planning, they set out to start a breeding and racing operation that is built on always putting the interest of the horse first and finding value in an increasingly competitive market.
When she isn't researching the newest stallions, Katie works as a professional researcher of freshwater policy. She has two master's degrees (including a MBA) and has traveled the world taking on a variety of freshwater issues. Katie's passion for horses begins before the foal is even born - she is primarily responsible for overseeing the broodmare and breeding operations of Hall Stables.
Besides his work with horses, Sam is a practicing litigation and appellate attorney. His legal work takes him across the country representing law enforcement officers and other government officials in civil rights cases. Sam first entered the thoroughbred industry through partial ownership of horses in syndicates where he gained valuable experience with stakes winning horses. He is now primarily responsible for overseeing the racing operations of Hall Stables
